A 900-Acre Garden Centre Offering Plants, Furniture, and Outdoor Decor
Sheridan Nurseries, founded in 1913 by two landscape architects in the town of Sheridan, Ontario, today encompasses 900 acres of farmland and 8 garden centres across the GTA. Friendly staff — whose green shirts (and thumbs) are an instant giveaway — will help you navigate a vast selection of trees, shrubs, grasses, ferns, herbs and more. From tropical indoor houseplants to shade- and sun-loving outdoor perennials and annuals, there’s a leafy option for all of your spaces. Round out your outdoor living room with a wide selection of weather-resistant furniture, including red cedar wood Muskoka chairs and comfy upholstered sofas. For chilly evenings, we can’t resist a fire pit; here, you’ll find an antique steel version with bear and tree-shaped cut outs.
